Knowing that summer was coming to an end way to fast, we tried to squeeze in some last minute activities.
I kept getting coupons emailed to me for Buca di Beppo, and the kids had never been there, so we headed out for dinner one night. They have a table in the kitchen so we thought that would be fun to watch the hustle and bustle. It was fun, good food, great company!
We then headed out to our favorite place to get a treat, Bruges, but they closed 5 minutes before we got there, so another trip is in order to get the best treat in town! Seriously if you want a waffle stuffed with chocolate from Belgium then this is your place, and the creme on top with some strawberries, I'm drooling just thinking about it.
Then one day we headed up to Park City to ride the Alpine Slide.
They ready to race!
This was right around the time when the teasing began. Let's just say there is a certain person who has issue's getting off the chair lift, and for 2 years in a row, fell off the dang thing when it was time to get off.
No worries this year though, everyone got off safe and sound with no scrapes or bruises!
Tiff and Deidra waiting for the instructions to be over with :)
Kendra drove for the first time, poor girl, I don't know if she is strong enough to push that lever all the way forward.
Tyler drove Mike.
We enjoyed a fun couple of last days of summer. There are still things I wanted to get done, and will have to try and work that in sometime.
School started today, and I'm sad! I like the kids home, and to be schedule free! But I am excited for the new adventures we will have this year.
