My sweet boy, my baby is the last one to perform in the 1st grade patriotic program.
I love this program, I get teary eyed every single time I have gone. And attending my last one made it that much harder. They sing some wonderful songs like "what's more American than corn flakes", "America the beautiful", "God bless the USA".
They all wore either a red shirt, white or blue shirts depending on where they sat, from the audience they looked like a flag, it is really cool to see.
And our little stud monkey had a speaking part, which was...
..."America is famous for a lot of things, we have great baseball, hot dogs and George Washington. I like rock and roll and our awesome flag."
He did such a great job!

I know what you mean ... that program is so cute and the kindergarteners are even cuter!
I love this program, every time. I get so emotional.
That little program is so awesome..especially for a military Mom that loves patriotism.
Seriously...that really was the best program of all the grades.
