"This is the time of our lives"

Today was Deidra's 6th grade dance, and "This is the time of our lives" was the theme. I loved being a part of this activity for Deidra, it was so much fun to see the excitement of the kids eyes when they walked through the gym doors to see it all decorated for them. They have been pratacing like 10 or more dances for the last few months. They had dance cards that the teacher's made so that everyone had the chance to dance with someone different and this also makes it so no one is left out. It worked out great I thought. I was on the food committee and was so excited about all the different food that was coming in and was going to take pictures of it all, well I forgot and only got 2 pictures (probably because it was before the kids came in and I could focus on it). Deidra right before everything started. The food my friend and I made (we did 100 of these). I took a picture of the veggie tray to but that was just plan boring. (hehe)Deidra and her awesome friends. We love these girls. Caitlin and Deidra. Some of the cute boys that go to our school.
Bailey, Deidra and Baily All the 6th grade boys.
All the 6th grade girls. There are like 85 6th graders this year.
Thanks Deidra for letting me be a part of your special day. I love you, but I sometimes wish you would stop growing up, before I know it you will be married with kids of your own.

That looks like a blast! I feel bad that Rebekah didn't get that experience. It gave me dejavu of my own 6th grade dance though. (The dance card thing...)
Where's Deidra's glasses? Did she get contacts?

Is the second Bailey - Bailey Boaz? I know her - she comes to my achievement days. What a fun dance idea and those fruit kabobs looked yummy!
