dAnCiN iN tHe StReEts!

A few weeks ago Tiffany had her 6th grade dance, the theme this year was "Dancin in the streets".

She had a great time. One thing that totally made me laugh, when she was showing me her dance card, she said "everyone I'm dancing with is so much taller than me", "Umm Tiff, pretty much everyone is taller than you". She giggled at my response.

I just love being able to help other mom's put on such a fun morning for these kids, I love being with my kids and seeing how happy they are, knowing they are growing up and this is one of the last big things they are doing in Elementary school.

At these dances there is a decorating committee and a food committee. Those in charge of decorating came up with a Hollywood background on one side of the room and a New York background on the other, they also had street sign's everywhere, it was pretty cute. I was on the food committee.

I had a great time being there with Tiffany and all her friends and I know she had a great time too.

I can't believe she is going to officially be a 7th grader in a few months, this year has gone by so fast. Tiff is a great student and enjoys school, I know she is going to love being in Jr. High but I think she will miss Elementary just a bit.
