Then Mike decided to take us for a drive and we headed up to Snowbird to take a tram ride! We've both wanted to do this so he thought that would be a good time to do it.
Now that I'm a mom I'm totally afraid of heights. I think I get scared of something happening to me, Mike or one of the kids and it freaks me out being anywhere that isn't on the ground. Really what if something happened I couldn't live with myself. But I was a trooper and we headed up the mountain 11,000 feet to be exact. It was beautiful up there, still lots of snow, but you could see so much.

My kids seem to think it's funny that I'm afraid of heights and Deidra thought this was great fun, yea I was freaking out, my heart was racing, it wasn't pretty!
Then of course Mike had to get a rise out of me as well and wanted a family photo (or 20) on the edge. Do you think Tyler needed his sunglasses?
This may just be our new Christmas photo!?
The kids found tons of lady bugs up there, they loved that.
These two were standing in snow for this cute shot.
I really like this picture of Tyler eating at one of my favorite restaurants as a teenager "Italian Village", can you say YUM-O. They have the best garlic bread ever. And they make these things called pizza benders (basically a calzone) I swear they were the first one's to invent those and they are yummy. It was so fun taking the kids there and seeing people I knew, and used to work with that are still there. So it was a great day, we all had tons of fun. Thanks again Mike for taking up the canyon's for a surprise!

Looks like tons of fun! I keep telling Bryan we need to head up to Park City to do that alpine coaster. Great pictures! Love the one of you all in height/age order. And Deidra giving you a heart attack. :)
That looks like so much fun!!! I have always wanted to take the tram up there, maybe we will have to before summer is up. I love the picture of you all it makes me think of that cell phone commercial.

Oh I love going up to the top of snowbird - even though it does mean a tram ride - I don't do heights either. And the hair on the back of my neck sticks out anytime my kids get close to any sort of edge - scary! Love your pictures.
