On Friday night we went to the State fair, we have been going the past couple years and really have enjoyed ourselves. This year we had an extra special reason to go, as I have posted before Mike and
Deidra are our photographers in the family and they entered the photo contest this year. So if you get a chance to go to the fair make sure you go into the building where the photo's are and you can see what they did. Plus you can get one of those
hugh scones with honey butter,
yummy.

anticipation, Tyler was out and the girls are just looking like they are along for the ride.
Mike entered 3 photo's in the contest and the one on the left took 1st prize and the one on the right won the "Supervisor's
award".
Deidra entered 3 photos as well and this one took 1st place.

Connie (Mike's sister) and her boyfriend Fritz met up with us at the fair. We had such a great time and can't wait to go again next year. I'm so proud of Mike and
Deidra for winning in the photo contest. Great job guys.

Wow, blue ribbon photo's how impressive! What a cool thing for her and her dad to do together. I love going to the state fair, seeing all the animals and eating junkie food.

You should be a proud little mama! Blue ribbon photos! Yahoo! And yes, the carrots are the perfect color for your new family pic...I hope to see that in your living room (FRAMED)! Did you go to the Vanessa Hudgens concert that night...I heard she was at the state fair!
Jan, We didnt go into the concert (only because I thought getting tickets would be a nightmare as it was when Ravyn came) but we did stand outside and listen and she was really good.
