Happy Birthday Deidra (on 11/02, i'm a little late)
Her day started early, 6am early to be exact. Her boyfriend came over to give her a gift before he headed out for his debate tournament, but I think she went back to sleep for a bit, you have to sleep in on your Birthday don't you!
I worked that morning, but as soon as I got home, she opened her gifts, then we headed out to lunch of her choice KFC. We then headed home to hang out and get things done in preparation for her family party the next day. Then out to dinner, Spaghetti Factory, again her choice and it did not disappoint!
Dedira is a Jr in High School this year and still just as fun as ever!
We are so proud of her and all she has accomplished, this girl is going places!
I can't believe it's been 17 years since she blessed our lives, she made us parents and for that we are so grateful! It's crazy to think she is going to be graduating next year, the time really did go fast...I want it to stand still for a while!
She came first for a reason and i'm sure it's because she is such a great big sister, she is a good example to others.
We all love her so much and are so thankful she is our girl!
Happy (late) Birthday Deidra, you are the best!

Time flies! I still occasionally run across pictures of Deidra and Shilo back in our home preschool days :-) I can't believe they are now nearly adults!! Tell her Happy Birthday from one of her old preschool teachers ;-)
