The never ending Birthday!! A few months late

**Yes I did start working on this right after her Birthday, but due to the photo's not loading correctly I couldn't finish it. But it's got that silly date issue again.**

On Friday October 29th the kids were out of school for "teacher prep day" or something along that line; So the Mia Maids and their leader's thought that was a perfect day to Welcome Deidra into Mia Maids (14/15 year old young women's class) so all the Mia Maids came over just before 8am to wake her up and take her to breakfast. It was cute, she thought Mike was joking with her until she looked into the hall and saw all the girls were standing there, then felt a little silly about telling her dad to leave her alone.

On her Birthday (it was a Tuesday) I told her I would bring her lunch (In-n-Out), but I love to add some fun to bringing a Birthday lunch, so I stopped and got her some balloons, I went walking into the lunch room and all the kids were like, "oh cool, who's birthday is it"? She was kinda hiding from me behind her friends but I found her. She was a bit embarrassed that I brought the balloons. So to add to the excitement/embarrassment a cute neighbor boy was at the next table over, so I asked him to sing with me, and we started singing Happy Birthday, pretty soon the whole lunch room was singing Happy Birthday to Deidra, it was AWESOME! The look on her face tells all (time for you to go mom)!

On Tuesday's she has 2 dance classes but skipped the 2nd one so we could go out to dinner. She choose Texas Roadhouse (yeah). It was our lucky night, apparently they have "kids night" on Tuesday's so they all got some t-shirts, then Kendra and Tyler made some cute Thanksgiving turkey magnets. Deidra was none to thrilled to sit on the "birthday saddle" and be sung too, but we enjoyed it. (not sure what happened to that photo)

On Friday, she had some friends over for dinner, cake then bowling. She has some really fun friends, it turned out to be a great night.
Tyler rocks at Bowling!

Silly group photo.

Good group photo.

Deidra and Baily.

The cake, I made this, isn't it cool!

Happy late Birthday (on the blog) Deidra! Your the best, love you!

What a great birthday... all week long :-) You are such a good mom to venture through the lunchroom... I've only done that twice, and I'm totally intimidated. Love that b-day cake too.
