She was a trooper this morning. Last night she was pretty nervous, but this morning she did great. They did have to put her to sleep, but she came out of it really well. She has been tired off and on through out the day, but is doing well.
They found some things that need to be biopsied, but also found out that she may be allergic to something (possibly in the environment) and this is what is causing her problems, at some point we may have to go to an Allergist to find out what it is). Her esophagus is swollen, so she will be on meds for a bit, then some sort of breathing treatment for a few weeks. We are hopeful these two things will take care of the problem she has been having, but time will tell.
We love her tons and are so sad when she is in pain. We will keep praying that this is the answer.

Boy do we know about endocsopy! Carolyn has to have them all the time! I hear they are not much fun. Poor Deidra. I'm so sorry she has to go through all of this. Hopefully they'll figure out exactly what the problem is soon so they can get her feeling better. She's in our prayers!
Oh, that's no fun. I sure hope the doctors can figure out what's wrong. Glad that Deidra did so well with the procedure.
Oh no! I hope they can figure out what is going on. We'll keep her in our prayers =)
Oh man! I especially hate it when Dr.'s can't figure out what is going on....makes me nervous!:( Hope you get some answers! We love Deidra...hate to think of her suffering!
Mindy -- the invite worked and I can access your blog. It's so fun to read about your family! I hope Deidra's health issues get resolved quickly, it's such a pain to not KNOW how to help. I was just looking through some old pictures the other day and found a couple of Shilo and Deidra at your house on the first day of our little home preschool. I will have to send them to you -- they are really cute!
Hope that she gets well quickly!! We need to do the bowling thing soon!
OH YUCK! have they found anything out? I keep forgetting to check peoples blogs now that they are private. and I KNOW I've slacked on mine.....
Oh that is no fun! Is she feeling better? I finally remembered to scroll down and check my list and the end of my blogs. I just keep forgetting when they don't move up my blogroll. Anyway, hope Deidra feels better soon and they can figure out what is going on. We have a great allergist if you need a name - the only problem is she is so good that it will probably take three months to get in if you are a new patient - so that may not help! We'll keep her in our prayers!
Thanks you guys! youre all so nice! (:
