A little reminder!

"If you have children who are grown and gone, in all likelihood you have occasionally felt pangs of loss and the recognition that you didn’t appreciate that time of life as much as you should have. Of course, there is no going back, but only forward. Rather than dwelling on the past, we should make the most of today, of the here and now, doing all we can to provide pleasant memories for the future. If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly."
-Thomas S. Monson
I copied this off my cute cousin Tammy's blog because it is such a reminder to us all.
I just love my children dearly and needed this little reminder on how important it is to take the time to play with them and not worry about the little things. I'm already amazed at how quickly they all have grown up. I love you guys.
I truly love our Prophet and i'm so thankful for the guidance I receive on a daily basis. Thanks Tammy for letting me copy.

Thanks for the reminder. As moms you often get frustrated at the piles of laundry, the little fingerprints on the clean walls and counters. But when you think of it that way it just makes that frustration leave.
Sorry we got home late making Diedra home late. We really appreciate her helping us.

Hey, I was really excited to see your post because I took that picture! Those little feet are my son. I am glad there are other moms out there who need the reminder like I do! And the Prophet's words alway give me comfort. Happy blogging!
